Greetings!
Is it a resolution if it only lasts 9 days into the new year (asking for a friend)?
The problem with New Year’s resolutions is they tend to make us feel worse about ourselves when we don’t make it very far with them.
Life happens. Problems arise, and then we find ourselves deep in a bucket of ice cream — resolutions brushed to the wind.
What if this year, instead of a resolution, we just keep going forward in love — striving for sainthood (which means we get back up after we fall; not the false idea that we never fall). The Christ Child doesn’t condemn, He only loves.
So, go ahead: keep standing up after you fall. Run to the cross. Adore Jesus. Don’t give up. Just love.
Praying for you,
