University of Saint Francis Basketball

Redeemer Radio brings you regular and post season action of both the Men’s and Women’s University of Saint Francis Cougar basketball teams.

On March 15th 2011 Redeemer Radio’s Joe Parson and “The Judge” Phil Houk broadcast live the National Championship game from Pt. Lookout Missouri where the USF Cougar Men were narrowly defeated for the NAIA Division II National Championship. Under first-year head coach Chad LaCross, the Cougars became just the second team in the 20-year history of the NAIA National Championship to make it to back-to-back championship games.

Redeemer Radio carried all the action of the USF Lady Cougars to their 25-9 record and second place finish in the MCC. Coach Gary Andrews just wrapped up his ninth season as head coach of the University of Saint Francis having led the Lady Cougars to four NAIA Tournaments in six seasons, four 20-plus win seasons, two Mid-Central Conference championships and two MCC Tournament titles as well as 2 MCC Tournament runner-up finishes.

Redeemer Radio airs a selection of Cougar Men’s and Women’s regular season games as well as the key playoff games through out the MCC and NAIA championship run.
