Special Events at Redeemer Radio

Redeemer Radio is your local, listener supported lay Catholic media apostolate serving the Catholic community in Northeast Indiana and Northwest Ohio.

We are honored to broadcast special Diocesan celebrations, such as the installation of Bishop Kevin Rhoades, Priestly ordinations, and Diaconate Ordinations.

Redeemer Radio is also pleased to pay tribute to the outstanding Catholic Schools in our listening area by broadcasting the “Light of Learning” luncheon each year, in addition to five noon hour live remote broadcasts from select Catholic Schools during Catholic Schools Week.

Sharathon

Fall Sharathon and Spring Sharathon are two very special Redeemer Radio events held each year. As a completely listener supported lay apostolate, Redeemer Radio raises its operating funds during these two Sharathons. For three days in the Fall and three days in the Spring, Redeemer Radio goes “live” between the hours of 7am and 7pm. Each hour highlights a Parish or a ministry in our Diocese, and the result is riveting radio!

As fun and fellowship fills the studio- -and even more folks fill the station- - volunteers man the phone lines to take pledge calls. Together we raise the funds needed to grow Catholic Radio in our area! Redeemer Radio is blessed to have many Priests come in for their Parish hour, along with some very special parishioners. Sharathon is a celebration of our local Catholic Community, complete with shared prayer, a lot of laughter and a few tears- -and “Sizzle Gifts” to win, of course!
