- The Finding of the Child Jesus in the Temple - After searching for three days, Mary & Joseph find Jesus teaching in the Temple.
Luminous Mysteries (traditionally prayed on Thursdays)
- The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River - Jesus is baptized in the Jordan River by John the Baptist
- The Wedding at Cana - Jesus performs His first miracle, the changing of the water into wine, at the wedding feast
- Proclamation of the Kingdom - Jesus begins His teaching life with the Sermon on the Mount
- The Transfiguration of Jesus - Jesus is transfigured and His clothes became dazzling white
- Institution of the Eucharist - Jesus gives us the Eucharist at the Last Supper and the Ordination of the Priesthood
Sorrowful Mysteries (traditionally prayed on Tuesdays and Fridays, and Sundays in Lent)
- The Agony in the Garden - Jesus begins His road to the Crucifixion praying in the Garden of Gethsameni, praying as drops of blood fall like sweat
- The Scourging at the Pillar - Jesus is scourged at the pillar
- The Crowning with Thorns - Jesus receives His crown of thorns
- The Carrying of the Cross - Jesus carries His cross to Calvary
- The Crucifixion - Jesus is nailed to the cross and crucified for our sins
Glorious Mysteries (traditionally prayed on Wednesdays and Sundays, and during the Easter Season)
- The Resurrection - Jesus is raised from the tomb
- The Ascension - Jesus ascends into heaven, promising to send the Holy Spirit
- The Descent of the Holy Spirit - The Holy Spirit descends on the Apostles in tongues of fire at Pentecost
- The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Mary is assumed into heaven, body and soul
- The Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Mary is crowned Queen of Heaven and Earth
