Meet the Hosts
Dr. Tom McGovern
Thomas W. McGovern, MD practices Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Fort Wayne Dermatology Consultants where he has treated over 20,000 cases of facial skin cancer serving as pathologist and reconstructive surgeon. He currently serves on the national board of the Catholic Medical Association, chairs the annual CMA Leadership Training Meeting, and has given multiple dynamic presentations at the CMA Annual Education Conferences on Suffering, Burnout, and the implications and applications of Human Temperaments. After graduating with a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Michigan Technological University, he completed his M.D. at Mayo Medical School. He served eight years in the U.S. Army where he trained in dermatology, performed two years of biological warfare research (vaccine development), and ran the dermatology clinic at Fort Riley, KS. He received his surgery training at Yale University School of Medicine and has worked in private practice in Fort Wayne, IN since 2000. Dr. McGovern has been married 27 years, has 7 home-schooled children, is a Knight Commander of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, serves on the Holy Cross College Board of Trustees, and has written an online education course entitled Another Doctor at Calvary for Catholic Distance University.
||Dr. Chris Stroud
Dr. Stroud is an Obstetrician and Gynecologist, whose practice is in Fort Wayne, but he sees patients from three states away seeking care for fertility problems. The Fertility and Midwifery Care Center is an independent practice that opened in 2014. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Dr. Jerome Lejeune Catholic Medical Guild and is the President.
||Dr. Andrew Mullally
Dr. Mullally's residency training in Family medicine brought him to Fort Wayne in 2013. Dr. Mullally opened an independent family practice in 2016, Credo Family Medicine. He sits on the Board of Directors of the Dr. Jerome Lejeune Catholic Medical Guild and is the State Director for Indiana.
